He has over twenty years teaching religion, theology, church history, social teachings of the church, human rights, peace education, democracy and governance.
He holds a diploma in education from Siriba teachers college now Maseno University, bachelor of education from Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and masters in religious studies from CUEA. He holds a professional doctorate in practical theology from Cambridge theological federation and Anglia Ruskin University in 2017. His areas of research include youth formation and religious life, church and politics and African widows and church exclusion.
