SIGNING OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN TANGAZA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE AND SHALOM-SCCRR
A Memorandum of understanding between Tangaza University College and Shalom Center for Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation ( SCCRR) was entered into on the 20th day of May 2021 at the main Boardroom of Tangaza University College, Nairobi Kenya.
It was signed by Professor David Wang’ombe, Vice Chancellor Designate-Tangaza University College, and Rev. Dr. Patrick Devine – International Chairperson, Shalom-SCCRR. Witnesses were Rev. Dr. Giuseppe Caramazza, Director of Institutional Advancement & Development (IAD)-Tangaza University College, and Rev. Fr. Oliver Noonan MA, Executive Director of SCCRR. The event was also attended by Professor. Wanakayi Omoka, Director of Research from Shalom-SCCRR, Ms. Judith Akedi MA, Womens Peace Building Program at Shalom-SCCRR and Sr. Dr. Agnes Njeri.
Shalom-SCCRR is a distinguished international organization that specializes conflict transformation and peace-building. Its core objective is to attain conflict resolution for the people of eastern Africa, evidenced by sustainable peace and holistic development.
Tangaza University College hosts the academic course on Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation under the tutorship of Frs. Noonan and Devine.
The MoU seeks to solidify the engagement between these two institutions for enhanced research into conflict resolution and reconciliation throughout Africa.
