Mrs Catherine Kisasa Muthonde: The Coordinator at the Centre for Child Safeguarding and Protection at Tangaza University College. Catherine is a PhD Candidate in Social Transformation specialising in Organisational Management.

She holds an MA in Religion & African Studies, MA in Counselling Psychology. Catherine is a lecturer, trainer, Consultant and a registered counselling psychologist for over 35 years. She is well versed in areas of child safeguarding and protection, child, youth and family studies, research, sustainable development, education, organisational leadership and management, project management and assessment, M&E.

She has a wide experience in developing training and learning curriculums, developing and reviewing child protection policy, developing child safeguarding manuals and other learning and training resources. She has offered training and support to child caregivers, Child Care Practitioners and other professionals in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Congo, Zambia, and Malawi. She has a wide experience in online and face to face teaching, training, research and assessment.
