Prof. David Wang’ombe-(Vice Chancellor) Receiving The Laptops Donation

A donor through Rev. Fr. Temba Leopold, CSC and Rev. Br. Paul Mensah, CSC of Holy Cross Fathers, McCauley Formation House, Karen donated 24 laptops to Tangaza University College, to be used by deserving students. The computers officially handed over on 6th October 2020 at 11:30 am were distributed to students drawn from all the institutes.

The preparation for effecting the donation began in August 2020 and completed on 6th October 2020 paving way for the students to start utilizing the laptops.

The institutes through the coordination of the DVC ASA-Sr. Agnes have identified 24 deserving students who’re the beneficiaries of the project. The office has developed a contract for engagement between the university and students getting the computers for the time they’ll be in Tangaza.

This donation goes a long way to support Tangaza’s core and founding value of preferential option for the poor.

Thankyou very much donating Laptops to our beloved institution. Remember, the hand that gives is the same hand that recieves.

It is a good sign of prefferential option for the poor and if possible others who can may emulate for a good cause. Indeed there are some students who can not genuinely afford such laptops. The new normal demands their use. May God bless all who are in support of a just cause.
