Welcome to the Tangaza Centre for Ethical Leadership and Safeguarding (TCELS). As a dedicated part of Tangaza University, we are committed to our core philosophy of “Teaching Minds, Touching Hearts, and Transforming Lives”. At TCELS, our mission is to empower leaders to lead ethically and safeguard communities through education, engagement, and servant leadership. We strive to serve as a regional hub for ethical leadership, advancing integrity, compassion, and safeguarding through research, education, and service. Our ultimate goal is to improve knowledge and impart skills that lead to a change of attitude towards safeguarding and leadership in Kenya, Africa, and globally.

Our Unique Foundation

TCELS consolidates three proven programmes; Servant Leadership, Executive Management, and Safeguarding into a single, powerful centre at Tangaza University. Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, Ready for the World. We leverage our unique position as a Catholic Institution to lead a faith-informed, values-based approach to protecting the vulnerable and forming ethical leaders, answering the call to “protect, listen, and heal.”
