Introduction

Social Entrepreneurship education in Africa often falls short of creating successful social entrepreneurs, as traditional methods focus on theory rather than practical venture creation. This webinar focuses on innovative social entrepreneurship education that catalyses enterprise creation and scaling to create a sustainable impact. It is imperative to redefine social entrepreneurship education and deploy a competency-based, action-oriented approach to equip students with the skills to launch and grow sustainable businesses.

Objectives

  1. Highlight the limitations of conventional entrepreneurship education and the need for practical, competency-based training.
  2. Discuss the innovative pedagogy that blends integrating face-to-face sessions, e-learning, and real-world mentorship from industry players.
  3. Demonstrate how the merging of the gap between academia and industry fosters contributions to self-confidence, business model innovation, and growth.

Target Audience:

Aspiring entrepreneurs, impact-driven leaders, NGO workers, and business leaders are seeking transformative entrepreneurship training.

Why Attend?

Learn how this social entrepreneurship education can prioritise venture creation and scaling through flexible pedagogy, mentorship, and ecosystem integration. Attendees will gain insights into designing programs that drive economic growth and job creation.
