Theme: “Celebrating a New Dawn for Greater Service to Church and Society.”
On Saturday, 10th May 2025, Tangaza University will come together to mark Tangaza Day — a special celebration and fundraising event that will bring together students, staff, alumni, and invited guests in a shared spirit of unity and purpose.
Planned Activities for the Day
The programme will begin with a Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Archbishop Philip Anyolo and the Apostolic Nuncio, setting a solemn and meaningful tone for the day.
This will be followed by a fundraising activity in support of the Learning Resource Centre — a key initiative aimed at strengthening our academic infrastructure. Staff and guests will be invited to contribute generously to this cause. After the administration formally hands over the collective staff contribution, individual staff members will be invited to line up and symbolically boost the collective effort — a powerful expression of our shared commitment.
The day will conclude with refreshments, giving participants the opportunity to interact, reflect, and celebrate this meaningful occasion together.
An Invitation to Participate
All staff are kindly requested to plan ahead and make necessary arrangements to attend and actively participate in Tangaza Day. Your presence and contribution will make a difference.
To those who have not yet submitted their staff contribution, this is a gentle reminder to do so. The Management has noted with appreciation that many colleagues have already fulfilled — or are in the process of fulfilling — their pledges. Heartfelt thanks go out to each of you.
For those who may still be considering their contribution, may this Lenten season and the upcoming Tangaza Day inspire you to join this collective effort — whether before or even after 10th May. Together, let us move forward in a true spirit of unity as One Tangaza Family.
