Tangaza Red Cross Team 2025/2026

On 22/11/2025, we gathered at D10 in Tangaza University for our First Aid Training organized by the Red Cross Club. Members arrived early and Kathleen led the registration process smoothly ensuring that everyone was checked in. Brother Emmanuel then opened the session with a powerful prayer setting a positive tone for the day. We later received a warm speech from the TUSA president who appreciated the organizing committee, the school administration, the first aid trainer and all Red Cross members for their dedication in making the event possible. His words reminded us of the value of teamwork and service to the community.

After the opening session, we proceeded with the theory training led by our trainer who explained the basics of first aid including safety, emergency response and the importance of staying calm when helping someone in danger. The explanations were simple and practical helping us understand what to do in real-life situations. We then took a short break which gave us time to interact, network and share our expectations about the practical session. This break also helped us refresh before returning for more learning.

In the final part of the training, we engaged in hands-on practical activities where the trainer demonstrated key first aid skills such as CPR, wound management and handling fractures. We practiced in groups which helped us gain confidence. The Red Cross chairperson later gave a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all participants. The treasurer then closed the event with a heartfelt prayer. We concluded the day with group photos and a shared lunch celebrating a successful and meaningful training experience.
